HUET
HUET(Helicopter Underwater Escape Training) course will prepare participants for helicopter travel and for escape from a helicopter that has crashed down the sea. This course also includes under-water confidence building exercises for participants with limited or no swimming ability.

Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET)
1. Helicopter Travel
2. Helicopter Emergencies
a) Donning an aviation lifejacket.
b) Actions in preparation for a helicopter ditching and an emergency landing.
c) Actions following:
a. A controlled emergency descent to a dry landing with evacuation via a nominated exit.
b. A controlled ditching on water (including operation of a push out window on instruction from aircrew).
c. A partial submersion of an aircraft (without operation of a push out window).
d. A partial submersion of an aircraft (including operation of a push out window)
d) Actions following:
a. An aircraft capsize in water (without operation of a push out window)
b. An aircraft capsize in water (including the operation of a push out window)
