This training is to refresh and revalidate Travel Safely by Boat Training is for all personnel travelling and transferring by boat to an offshore installation.

JOINING INSTRUCTIONS
What are the entry requirements?
Learners must hold a valid OPITO Approved Travel Safely by Boat certificate.
Learners who are in possession of a current BOSIET(with EBS), FOET(with EBS), HUET (with EBS), Tropical BOSIET, Tropical FOET, Tropical HUET, BOSIET (with CA-EBS), HUET (with CA-EBS) or FOET (with CA-EBS) are not required to participate in practical life raft and in-water sea survival exercises
Medical Entry Requirements
Training activities contained within this Product may include physically demanding and potentially stressful elements. All personnel who participate in such activities must be capable of participating fully.
Learning Outcomes:
- The safety requirements covering safe embarkation and disembarkation, and individual responsibilities
- Safety procedures and control of hazards during swing rope transfers
- Acting correctly in the event of an emergency
- Safe Boarding a marine life raft from water including use of PPE
- Initial and secondary emergency response actions including In-water survival techniques
