Course Description:
This is designed to provide knowledge and skills to the trainees who have responsibilities for performing rescue from Tower Cranes. This will also enable the delegates to learn the effective and interactive way to keep you and your employees up to date with fall protection requirement, various types of rescue equipment and self-rescue methods.
Course Objective:
The aim of the course is to make you aware of common hazards and precautions when planning to work, working, or gaining access to places at height in reference to Tower Crane.
Objectives:
At the end of the course you will be able to:
1. Understand the range of hazards that need to be considered in typical working at height activities (Tower Crane)
2. Recognize the legal & regulatory requirements.
3. Recognize a hierarchy of control measures that will help to control risks when working at height.
4. Undertake a risk assessment.
5. Identify common hazards involved in rescue activities.
6. Recognize the limitations of various work equipment and undertake visual inspections of equipment and workplace.
7. Proper use of harness, fall arrest, fall restraints, lifelines, and rescue devices(controlled descending devices).
