COURSE DESCRIPTION

The position of an appointed person carries a great deal of responsibility and only suitable personnel should be selected for this role. This is a purely theoretical course, there is no practical crane exercise as this is classroom based. A self-profiling form will be sent to candidates.

To make candidates more aware of the appointed person’s responsibilities an how best to fulfil them. To demonstrate an ability to interpret and apply sections 1, 2, 3 and 5 of the BS 7121 Safe Use of Cranes.
