This training is designed to address the basic training requirements for all personnel working in RG Onshore Plant Site and considered as one of the three core mandatory safety training courses to access RG plant site if personnel have to work under a PTW.
Permit to Work (PTW) is a formal safety system used in workplaces to ensure that high-risk tasks are performed safely and systematically. It involves a written document that authorizes specific work to be carried out in a controlled environment, detailing the nature of the work, potential hazards, necessary precautions, and safety measures. The PTW system is commonly used for activities like hot work, confined space entry, electrical work, and maintenance tasks where there is a risk to health and safety. The permit must be issued by a competent person after all safety checks and procedures have been verified. This system helps prevent accidents, ensures compliance with safety regulations, and promotes a culture of safety in the workplace.
