SDS & Basic Spill Response

This interactive course assists participants to identify chemicals and follow correct procedures during chemical spills. Regular training in the correct use of spill response equipment will ensure personnel are able to employ safe methods to control spills effectively. Operational personnel or any staff required to identify and undertake a first response approach to controlling a chemical spill.

Course Details

Course Description:
This course is designed for individuals who are responsible for responding to spills of common industrial products within their facilities. Programs can be tailored to client specific hazards, including tanks, drums and totes of lube oil, hydraulic oil, paint, solvents etc. The course helps to understand the responsibility of site safety, spill control and environmental protection, provide familiarity with emergency planning, spill prevention, spill response and control, and clean up products and techniques; how to prevent harm from exposure when responding to the spills.
