Course Details
Learning Outcomes :
• Conduct all necessary pre-drive inspections.
• Operate the vehicle in a safe, lawful, and proper manner while interacting with other road users.
• Maintain a safe buffer around the vehicle in all driving conditions.
• Identify, acknowledge, and handle potential and actual hazards by employing the most appropriate avoidance technique.
• Effectively communicate with other drivers and banksmen.
• Adjust speed to match the conditions of the load, traffic, and environment.
• Safely and competently navigate through tight spaces.
• Familiarize yourself with the rules and signals of roundabouts and handle lane conflicts.
• Acquire the necessary skills and understand the responsibilities associated with transporting goods and materials.
• Position the vehicle for loading and unloading and secure the load properly.
• Know the rules, responsibilities, and guidelines (regarding size, weight, route restrictions, parking) for driving, in accordance with both company policies and traffic regulations.
