The training is to equip delegates with knowledge and skills on the Donut Personal Descent Device, so they are competent to use it in case of an emergency. It is designed for novices or as a refresher for experienced personnel. The course is in two parts.
1. An instructor led classroom presentation of the Donut descent device.
2. An instructor led series of student practical descents and associated tasks.
